Slate Outdoor Wall Tiles

This slate outdoor wall tiles from Beata Ceramics factory is a new product in our newly launched digital glaze series. From the mid-to-late 20th century to the early 21st century, people put stone grains of different colors on the pre-laid fine cement slurry and then smoothed them. Through careful design, different decorative patterns can be presented, which have a strong simple decorative beauty, hence the name terrazzo. However, there are also problems such as gaps between stones that are easy to hide dirt and difficult to clean, and stones that are easy to fall off when frequently scrubbed with a brush. Taking the primary terrazzo from the mid-to-late 20th century to the early 21st century as the prototype, the B612SM005 wall tiles for outside not only retains the retro charm of primary terrazzo, but also avoids the shortcoming of primary terrazzo that is easy to hide dirt.

Core Advantages

As a digital glaze product specially designed for outdoor scenarios, B612SM005 have multiple core advantages. First, its uneven surface texture effectively increases friction, with an anti-slip grade of R10-R11. It also has high hardness and impact resistance, which can easily cope with high-frequency pedestrian trampling outdoors and is not easy to wear or scratch. Second, its water absorption rate is less than 0.5%, which can effectively resist the penetration of water and oil stains. Daily cleaning does not require cumbersome operations, and ordinary cleaning agents can quickly remove stains, saving time and effort. Third, these outside wall tiles are not easy to fade or crack when used outdoors for a long time, and does not require frequent maintenance, which greatly reduces the later maintenance cost.

Construction and Application

Due to its anti-slip and wear-resistant properties, B612SM005 can be widely used for outdoor floors, such as courtyard walkways, terraces, park leisure areas and other areas. At the same time, the 18mm thick body of these porcelain terrazzo tiles can be easily grooved on the back, and can be installed on the wall by the same dry-hanging method as natural stone. The large 600×1200mm format reduces the splicing gaps, creating a grand aesthetic feeling for the building.
